Team Forms

This guide is for pinning one specific form to your device home screen so it opens directly to that form.

If you want to pin the whole Team Forms app instead, so you can open a list of forms, use the method in this article:

You will need an install link from the form owner or team member. Open that link on the device where you want to install the form.

A form owner or team member with permission to share the form needs to create the install link first.

Right-click the form and click <code>Share</code>.

In the share dialog, choose whether the link is for internal team members or a public link, then click the <code>Install</code> tab.

Click <code>Generate</code> to reveal the install link. You can also modify options such as the app name and embed mode. We recommend leaving embed mode enabled.

4. Copy the link and share it with others.

The user should open the install link on the device where they want to install the form.

Use Safari for the best install experience.

Tap the <code>...</code> button in the browser toolbar.

Scroll down and tap <code>Add to Home Screen</code>.

2. Tap the <code>...</code> button in the browser toolbar.
3. Tap <code>Share</code>.
4. Scroll down and tap <code>Add to Home Screen</code>.
5. Tap <code>Add</code>.

The form will now appear on your home screen as an app shortcut. Tap the icon to open that specific form directly.

If you opened the link in Chrome, Edge, Outlook, Teams, or another app, open it in Safari first, then follow the steps above.

Chrome usually gives the best install experience.

If an <code>Install</code> button appears, tap it.

If no button appears, tap the browser menu.

Choose <code>Install app</code> or <code>Add to Home screen</code>.

4. Choose <code>Install app</code> or <code>Add to Home screen</code>.
5. Confirm the install.

The form will be added to your home screen and will open directly to that specific form.

Desktop installation is optional, but supported in some browsers.

If an <code>Install</code> button appears, click it.

If no button appears, look for the install icon in the address bar or browser menu.

4. Confirm the install.

You can also use <code>Open form instead</code> if you only want to open the form in the browser.

Click the Share button near the address bar.

1. Open the form install link in Safari.
2. Click the Share button near the address bar.
3. Choose <code>Add to Dock</code>.

The form will be added to your Dock as a shortcut.

If you do not see an install option, make sure you are using the install link, not the normal form link.

If the form was already installed, your browser may not show another install prompt. Remove the existing shortcut first, then open the install link again.

If the form does not open correctly, use the <code>Open form instead</code> link on the install page.
