Viewing Responses on Mobile

Updated this week

There are two primary ways to view submissions in Team Forms: the Responses tab and the Submissions screen.

The Responses tab provides a high-level view of responses across all forms. By default, it is filtered to show only responses submitted by the currently logged-in user, but you can adjust the filters to also include responses from other team members. This view is lightweight, easy to navigate, and works well on smaller screens.

The Submissions screen, on the other hand, shows a detailed view of responses for a single form. Each question is displayed in its own column in a table layout, making it ideal for analysing responses at a question-by-question level. While this tabular view is great for deeper analysis, it is not well optimised for mobile devices due to limited screen width.

For this reason, when viewing responses on a mobile device, we recommend using the Responses tab.

You may also notice that the Submissions screen is not always accessible on mobile. This is because the context menu (β€œβ€¦β€) used to open it only appears on screens that are wide enough. If you do need to access the Submissions screen on mobile, the easiest workaround is to enable auto-rotate in your device settings and rotate your device to landscape (horizontal) orientation. This increases the available screen width and reveals the context menu, allowing you to access the Submissions screen as usual.
