Let's explore how you store a copy of the PDF in an alternative SharePoint location

One of the great features of Team Forms is a PDF copy of the form is generated automatically for every submission and uploaded directly to your Teams SharePoint document library. However in some circumstances you may have an existing legacy document management system or a folder structure different to Team Forms default. In theses situations you can leverage the integration with Power Automate to make a copy of the PDF in an alternative location. In this article we will explore how to can store the PDF in an alternative SharePoint document library however the same method can be used for any enterprise document system (e.g. Dropbox, Google Drive).

Team Forms provides official Power Automate template for common use cases including storing the generated PDF in SharePoint. To get started, simply navigate to the link below.

From this page you will see any pre-build templates to help you get started. Lets select "Archive PDF in SharePoint when a response is submitted in Team Forms". This will automatically create the flow needed to archive PDF.

Next simply update the trigger action to point to the team and from you wish to archive the PDF for and select the SharePoint document library you want to archive in.
