How to Switch from Monthly to Annual Billing

When purchasing a new subscription, you have the option to select monthly or annual billing at checkout. However, if you are already on a monthly plan and wish to switch to annual billing, you can do so through the subscription management portal.

Prerequisites

  • You must be a Team Owner or the Subscription Owner to view billing options.

Instructions

  1. Navigate to Team Settings - You can access the settings in one of two ways:

    • From the Sidebar: Hover over the team name, click the "..." icon, and select Team Settings.

    • From a Channel Tab: Click the arrow on the channel tab and select Settings.

  2. Access the Subscription Tab - Once in the settings menu, click on the Subscription tab.

  3. Open the Management Portal - Click the Update Subscription button. This will open the secure subscription management portal where you can manage company details, payment methods, and tax IDs.

  4. Update Plan or Billing Frequency - Inside the portal, click the Update Subscription button again. From here, you can choose to switch to a different subscription plan or change your billing frequency to annual.

โš ๏ธ If you started a free trial as a monthly subscription, you will not see the option to switch to annual billing immediately at checkout.

You must first complete the purchase of the monthly subscription. Once the subscription is active, follow the steps above to switch to an annual plan.
