How to Customize the Message Shown After a Form is Submitted

Updated over a week ago

By default, when a public form is submitted, users will see a success page that reads:

Thanks!

Your response has been submitted

Click here to submit another response.

Currently, this success message is not configurable. However, we plan to introduce customization options for this message in a future release.

Workaround: Redirect to a Custom Webpage

If you’d like to show users a custom success message today, you can use our Redirect on Submission feature. This allows you to send users to any webpage once the form is submitted—completely bypassing the default success screen.

For example, you could redirect users to:

  • A page with next steps or downloadable resources

  • A branded confirmation message tailored to your organization

  • Another form that simply displays content of your choosing like a custom success message

To learn how to set up this redirect, follow the steps outlined here.
