The Modal Edit setting is a versatile feature available for all components. It offers a streamlined way to enhance the user experience by presenting form questions in a popup dialog instead of directly within the form. When enabled for a component, the following changes occur:
- The component, along with any nested components, transforms into a clickable button.
- The text displayed on the button is set by the “Modal Label” property.
- Clicking the button opens the associated question(s) in a popup dialog.
This approach shifts the focus to the questions in a distraction-free environment, making it easier for users to complete forms efficiently.
