Lets explore how Team Forms automatically saves your progress as a draft

Updated over a week ago

As you fill our a form you will notice a save indicate appear momentarily each time you make any changes to your response (see recording below). This is because Team Forms will automatically save any progress you make as a draft. The next time the user opens the form the draft response will automatically be applied so you can resume where you left off.

Creating Multiple Drafts

Team Forms will automatically load any draft response when you open a form (either via a link or from within Team Forms directly). However, sometimes it can be useful to create multiple drafts of the same form template. You can do so by following the steps below:

  1. Open the form you wish to create an additional draft for

  2. Locate and click the "..." icon in the top right hand corner to reveal the context menu

  3. Click the "+Add Another" button

You will now have a blank form template that you may fill out. If you wish to resume any drafts you can also open the responses tab to find a list of available draft forms that are still in progress.
