Internal Links
When sharing links internally with team members, the links will remain active indefinitely unless the form is unpublished or deleted.
Public Links
Public links typically expire after 90 days of inactivity. Each time the link is accessed, the expiration period is reset, granting another 90 days of validity.
Important Notes:
The 90-day expiration is a general guideline and may vary based on your organization’s Microsoft Entra settings, which are managed by your internal IT department.
Events such as password resets can also impact link expiration.
When a link expires, a red error icon will appear next to it in the share dialog. You can click this icon to re-authenticate the link. This allows you to renew the link while keeping the original URL—useful if it has already been distributed, such as embedded in a QR code.
For more details, refer to the official Microsoft documentation on refresh tokens. This is the mechanism used to keep links alive.
