How can I transfer my paid subscription

Move your subscription to another team or organisation in a few simple steps

Team Forms subscriptions can be transferred between teams within the same Microsoft 365 tenant, or even to a team in a different tenant.

Requirements

Before transferring a subscription, ensure that:

  • You are the owner of the subscription, or

  • You are an owner of the team that currently holds the subscription.

Transferring a Subscription

  1. Open Team Forms and navigate to the team that currently has the paid subscription.

  2. Open the Team Settings.

  3. Select the Subscription tab.

  4. Under your current plan (identified by the green tick), click Transfer Subscription.

  5. In the dialog that appears, select the team you would like to transfer the subscription to.

  6. Review the transfer details and confirm the transfer.

Transferring to Another Microsoft 365 Tenant

If you need to transfer the subscription to a team in a different Microsoft 365 tenant:

  1. In the transfer dialog, enable the Transfer to another tenant option.

  2. Sign in with an account from the destination Microsoft 365 tenant.

  3. Select the destination team.

  4. Confirm the transfer.

Important Notes

  • Subscriptions cannot be transferred to a team that already has an active subscription or trial.

  • Only the subscription is transferred. Forms, responses, workflows, and other team data remain in their original team.

  • If the destination team already has an active subscription or trial, you must cancel or remove it before the transfer can proceed.
